Indoor BB Gun Shoot

Our Indoor BB Gun Shoots are held the 2nd Sunday of the month and begin at noon. All ages are welcome to participate (younger children may receive some assistance from a parent/guardian if needed). These shoots will begin in November and end in the Spring (month TBD). Each shoot consists of 12 rounds and typically lasts for about 2 hours depending on how many shooters are present. If there's a big sporting event going on at the same time the shoot is occurring, we will have it available to watch on our big-screen TV during the shoot. The price-per-person to participate in all 12 rounds is $20 (there are 10 $1 standard rounds and 2 $5 bonus rounds). You can participate in some or all of the rounds but must participate in at least 5 standard rounds to participate in the first $5 bonus round and at least 8 standard rounds to participate in the second $5 bonus round. The prize awared for each round also depends on the number of shooters participating in the shoot.

A running score is kept during the indoor shoot season. At the last shoot of the season, 2 Grand Prizes will be awarded. Shooters age 12 and under are eligible to win the 1st Grand Prize, which is a custom Eastern Lancaster County Rod & Gun Club Red Ryder(TM) BB Gun (pictures of the actual gun are below). This amazing custom BB Gun was donated by Mark and Jackie Walls. ALL shooters are eligible to win the 2nd Grand Prize, which will be a BB or Pellet Gun. Both prizes will be awarded, but one person cannot win both prizes.

How it works: During each round, each shooter gets to take 1 shot at an individual small square target which has an "X" printed on it and is located 20ft away. The shooter who hits closest to the center of the "X" wins the round and the prize for that round. In the event of a tie, the people who tied will shoot again (at no additional cost) until a clear winner is determined. All supplies, including BB Guns, BBs, and safety glasses for the shooters are provided by the club for use, but feel free to bring your own BB gun as long as your BB gun is spring-powered and shoots at 350 fps or less (such as a Red Ryder or a Daisy Model 25 BB gun). Only iron sights may be used. No scopes, laser sights, bipods, 20ft long barrels, etc. please. A member of the staff who is running the shoot will approve or deny your BB gun for use. While we take several precautions to ensure the safety of everyone attending/participating in the shoot, we strongly encourage you to bring your own safety glasses and wear them for the duration of the shoot. Come out for breakfast on the 2nd Sunday of the month, stay for the shoot, have a great time, and don't shoot your eye out!
